We will pick up you at the Cai Be Tourist port to prepare for Mekong Rustic cycling trip in the morning or afternoon
We will cycle to one of the ancient house which was decorated by the typical traditional style with all walls and columns, furniture were made of wood. It is surrounded by a luxuriant garden with many types of tropical fruit trees, flowers.
Then, we experience by crossing the Mekong River in local ferry and cycling around Tan Phong Island to visit the MONKEY bridge which local people use to cross the canals daily and learn how local people cross the bridges. If it is on schooldays, you will also have a chance to make friends with local cute and gentle pupils in a village school. Stop at a local farmer’s house to savour a cup of tea and local specialties of banana candies. You can try plucking the fruits at the host’s garden and talk to him to understand how local farmers take care for their gardens.
Saying goodbye to the hospitable host, you will cycle back to Mekong Rustic before embarking on boat to leave Tan Phong Island for the pier to come back Ho Chi Minh City at 18.00. End of tour.
