(1931) Early Merrythought Bingie bear Hermann GermanMerrythought was well known for their bears with a difference. The first in 1931 was a Bingie. This one with the Earliest label on his leg. Bingie's are sitting bears with unjointed legs and short arms with the pads facing almost backwards. They had particularly long feet. There was also a Tumpy.
