Mekong Rustic is a community-based project built on the basis of cooperation, training and investment in local households.
Mekong Rustic is a community-based project founded by Huong Duong Travel Management Company with the representative of Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Bich since December 2014. This son of the Northern land spent years of his youth living in the Mekong Delta to get to know more about the local life. The passion for travel combined with the ambitiousness of helping the poor local pushed him to create a form of community tourism named Mekong Rustic.
Mekong Rustic is built on the basis of cooperation, training and investment in Cai Be and Tan Phong isles for local households. The project includes training sessions specialized in tour guide skills, product and service knowledge, homestay, on-board services and F&B. Mekong Rustic does not benefit.
any individuals but all households participating in the project and support the local community as well as sustainable tourism industry in Tan Phong, Cai Be, Tien Giang.
The project’s main aim is not benefit but to introduce Mekong people’s daily activities to visitors, take them closer to the simplest things of life and to see their heart of hospitality. The project also participate in improving the local living standard, preserve traditional handicraft villages, culture values and develop sustainable tourism locally and nationally.

Not only guaranteeing the tradition of activities, visitors will also have the opportunity to experience a responsible way of local nature, facilities and creation. The activities we build also bring health and happiness to all visitors to Mekong Rustic.
RESPONSIBLE TOURISM
Mekong Rustic strongly commits to develop tourism activities that have the least impact on the environment and local culture. We train and coordinate with the local people to create sustainable and responsible tourism activities in Mekong Delta.
Our commitment is to work responsibly towards partners and clients regards to providing the best services. All bookings will be responded at the soonest within 24 hours of receiving. Additionally, we particularly use and train the local labor force in all operation activities as well as support the local community in environmental and cultural protection and charity works.
